Literature Text

Verse 1:

Oh poor soul, what have you done?
Attempted to destroy something so profound.
There’s only one of you, be proud of who you are.
Don’t let those raw notes ruin your sound.

Their words are nothing but lies.
Please Michael, open your eyes.

Refrain:

Don’t sail into the realm of sleep
As we stand upon the shore.
Why would you let us wail and weep?
Are we not worth more?
Be strong, keep the enemy at bay.
We know you’ll win this war.
You’ve got friends to help ev’ry step of the way
‘cause that’s what friends are for.

Verse 2:

You shine out like a dash of rainbow
In this world’s monochrome.
A sparkle of twilight, a soothing glow
will be there to guide you home.

Refrain
This is a poem/song I composed for poor Michael Morones, an 11 year old child who had been bullied at school for months about liking MLP. On 2/5/14, he attempted to commit suicide because he couldn't take it anymore. Thankfully, he was rushed to a hospital, but he is in a critical condition so far as I know. He may have brain damage/paralysis, and I know his family is in great pain. Mrs. Morose, if you're reading this, please acknowledge that I am here for support, as are thousands of other people around the world. In a world that seems dark and terrifying, remember you are never alone.
